MEMBERSHIP

 

We hope you have enjoyed looking at the "Friends of Dagnam Park" (FODP) website, we are a non profit making group who look to protect the environment and the history associated within the Manor, Duckwood and the surrounding woodlands. All this unfortunately comes at a cost which is met by the Members of the FODP.

Membership: To date the FODP have approximately 35 full members and 80 associated members enrolled

We offer free membership, but rely on donations however small, to cover costs of administration, stationery, meetings at school halls, as well as the outdoor events.

As a member on your behalf we would organize outdoor and indoor events some of which are shown on the site: we would again appreciate a small donation for attending each of these events.

Membership will run for a minimum period of 12 months after which time it will be renewed subject to the above:

Health and safety:
At the beginning of each meeting or event the FODP appointed person will cover H&S and will inform you of the available fire procedure for an indoor venue:
You will be expected to sign an attendance register to confirm that you understand the following:

FODP are not responsible for your welfare and you attend each event at your own risk.

You must be a safe person who will not carry out any dangerous acts.
You should be fit and well when you attend events and meetings.
You should wear adequate; shoes, clothing and drinking water for each event.
Some of the venues for the events are over wet and muddy terrain and are not suitable for prams or wheelchair access, if you feel you cannot cope with the any of the events then you must not attend.

Children under 16 must be under the supervision of a responsible adult for attendance at meetings and events

First aid:
Some of the members are qualified or registered first aiders at their own work place so would be able to administer first aid at events or meetings should the need arise


The FODP reserves the right to decline membership without explanation of reasons for declination
